Disconnect Google services and delete your TubeMakers data

YouTube connection in the application

You can end TubeMakers’ access to your YouTube channel at any time. Sign in to TubeMakers and choose Revoke access and delete data next to the connected channel on your overview page – direct link: https://app.tubemakers.net/connect/youtube/revoke (sign-in required). Alternatively, send your request from the e-mail address registered with us to tubemakers.c1@gmail.com.

What happens next

  1. We revoke the stored access token with Google and stop all further retrievals for your channel.
  2. We delete the authorised YouTube data stored on the basis of your consent, together with the TubeMakers analyses, intermediate values and exports derived from it – as soon as possible and within seven calendar days.
  3. You receive a confirmation once completed.

Additionally at Google

You can also remove TubeMakers directly in your Google security settings: security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. TubeMakers regularly verifies granted permissions and deletes data as soon as authorisation can no longer be confirmed.

Disconnect Google Cloud Text-to-Speech

If you configured Google Cloud Text-to-Speech, sign in, open TubeMakers setup, and choose Revoke connection for the Google TTS connection. New speech calls and retries of already prepared jobs are blocked immediately. The short-lived access TubeMakers used for the one-time project setup was already discarded after setup; TubeMakers stores neither a refresh token nor a service-account key for it.

Your Google Cloud project, billing account and the resources created there remain under your control. To ensure TubeMakers can no longer obtain technical access, also remove the Workload Identity connection or service account created for TubeMakers in Google Cloud. You may also delete the entire project. A request to tubemakers.c1@gmail.com deletes the project, connection and voice details held by TubeMakers under the periods for account and workspace data.

Important: Deletion at TubeMakers does not delete or modify videos, playlists, comments or other data on YouTube, or resources in your Google Cloud project. Use the relevant Google service for that.

Delete your account

Deleting your entire TubeMakers account includes the steps above for all connected channels and the Google Cloud connection data held by TubeMakers. It is available in the account settings or by e-mail to tubemakers.c1@gmail.com.
